Thoresby Hall Hotel Nr, Ollerton, Nottinghamshire

One of Nottinghamshire’s most important houses, Thoresby’s original features are still enjoyed by Warner’s guests today. There are deep armchairs in the vaulted splendour of the Great Hall, and the house’s broad terrace overlooks a croquet lawn and acres of classic parkland. The rooms vary from historic sumptuous four-posters to our simpler standard rooms. There’s a wide range of activities available, from fencing to falconry, and live music every night.

Deluxe Rooms
Bags of character and spacious surroundings are ‘the norm’ here. These rooms are layered with little luxuries that elevate any stay – a super king size bed, armchairs and beautiful décor. Velvets, timber panelling and heritage colours add softness and a slice of nostalgia. These rooms are all located in the modern wing of the hotel.
Upgrade to Superior Rooms
Ideal for those wanting to ‘splash-out’ or celebrating a special occasion. Generous in space, and with unique features you wouldn’t find in just any room. These rooms boast a feature or super king size bed as well as a sofa for two with coffee table. These rooms are all located in the modern wing of the hotel.

Things to do

Take a dip in the pool, or stroll through stunning historic gardens. Play a little tennis, enjoy a game of snooker, take a yoga class, or simply go for a good long walk and take in the country air. We offer singing and dance workshops, and organise tours and walks to interesting places too, or if you'd rather, just sit back, relax and do nothing at all!
