Booking Conditions for Day Excursions


Reserved Seats:

Seat numbers will be issued at time of booking, but we reserve the right to alter seating arrangements when necessary for operational reasons.

Payment:

All excursion bookings must be paid for in full at time of booking. Provisional bookings cannot be accepted. Please book as early as possible as this helps us judge demand for each tour.

Smoking:

Smoking whilst on board our vehicles is strictly forbidden. When possible comfort stops will be made during the journey at suitable places.

Child Age:

Child prices for ages 3 – 14 inclusive except Alton Towers & Drayton Manor where they stipulate max child age is 11 years.

Entrance Fees:

Entrance fees are not included in the price shown, unless it is clearly shown as being included in the description.

Cancellation:

In some cases it may be necessary to cancel an excursion due to insufficient bookings, in which case we will give as much notice possible (minimum of 36 hours) and offer an alternative excursion, if available, or a full refund. If you cancel your booking more than 36 hours before departure we will refund your money less £2 administration fee per person (pre purchased tickets may not be refundable). Bookings cancelled with less than 36 hours notice will not be entitled to a refund.

Pick Up Times:

Please be at your pick up point in good time, which will help us to maintain running times. We will not be able to wait for passengers who are late arriving at pick up points. At any comfort stops and on arrival at your destination, your driver will announce the time to return to coach. It is requested that you return on time, and whilst we will make every effort to locate missing passengers, we will not be liable for any inconvenience or expense arising by passengers missing the coach for the onward or return journey home etc. Drop off route may vary from pick up route due to operational requirements.

Lost Property:

We cannot be held responsible for any items left on the coach at any time during your trip. Personal items are carried on the coach at your own risk. If you have any queries regarding lost property please ring during office hours 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Enquires about lost property outside these hours cannot be dealt with.

Wheelchairs:

Unfortunately we are unable to carry motorised wheelchairs or scooters of any description. We are willing to accept lightweight wheelchairs that fold up, and these will be stowed at your own risk inside the luggage compartment.

Please Note:

All excursions are operated to meet demand, normally it is intended to use 49/53 seats coaches, but where demand is of a lower number it may be possible that we will use smaller vehicles with lower seating capacity. When demand is high, it may also be necessary to sub contract coaches from other operators.

Information in the descriptions are made to the best of our knowledge using information supplied to us. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes that occur beyond our control.



We accept payments online by Delta, Maestro debit cards, VISA or MasterCard (no charge is made for payments by debit card or credit cards). Alternatively, bookings can be made by telephone; cheques or money orders made payable to Timewells Travel may be sent by post to Timewells Travel, Sefton Ln, Liverpool L31 8BX, UK at least 14 days prior to your intended departure date.
